I . Objectives:
A. Aim: By the end of the lesson ss will be able to know about some places Lan went to with a foreign friend and some activities they took part in together.

- Grammar: The simple past and the verb” wish”
C. Skills: Listening, reading and speaking
II. Preparation : - T’s: pictures, leson plan, tape.
- Ss’: Vocabulary, think over the topic “ your friends”

III. Procedures:

* Introducing themselves:
- Ask ss to stand in front of the class and introduce themselves.
B. . New lesson:
1. Presentation:
a. Pre-teach vocabulary:
- to correspond: (Explanation)

* Check vocabulary: Slap the board.
2. Practice reading the dialogue:
a. Practice reading the text.
- Teacher models and asks ss to read individually.

* Use: To describe a regret in the present.
3. Practice with the new target language:
- Ask ss to put the verbs in the brackets in the past subjunctive.

IV. Consolidation: Give the corect form of each verb in brackets:
